Pre-Treatment Care & Preparation

To help you get the best results from your Microinfusion treatment, please prepare your skin properly before your appointment.

3–5 Days Before:

  • Pause retinol, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and strong active products.

  • Avoid waxing, dermaplaning, laser treatments, or harsh facial services on the area being treated.

  • Limit excessive sun exposure and avoid tanning beds or sunburn.

24 Hours Before:

  • Avoid alcohol if possible, as it may increase sensitivity or redness.

  • Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

  • Avoid intense workouts right before your appointment.

Day of Appointment:

  • Arrive with clean skin whenever possible.

  • Let us know about any cold sores, active breakouts, irritation, allergies, medications, or recent skin treatments.

  • Treatment should be postponed on areas with open skin, infection, or inflamed acne.

Post-Treatment Care & Tips

After Microinfusion, your skin may be more receptive and slightly sensitive. Proper aftercare helps maximize glow while reducing irritation.

First 24 Hours:

  • Use only gentle, hydrating skincare products.

  • Avoid makeup unless otherwise advised by your provider.

  • Avoid sweating, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools.

  • Keep hands off the treated area and avoid unnecessary touching.

  • Do not use retinol, exfoliants, acids, or strong vitamin C products.

The Next Morning:

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily. Sun protection is essential for best results.

Next 2–3 Days:

  • Continue hydrating products and gentle cleansing.

  • Resume normal skincare gradually as skin feels comfortable.

  • Wait 48–72 hours before restarting retinol, exfoliants, or stronger active ingredients.

Important Notes:

  • Mild redness, tightness, or sensitivity can be normal for a short time.

  • Avoid treating over eyelids, lips, active acne lesions, rashes, or broken skin.

  • Contact us if you experience unusual irritation or prolonged discomfort.
