PRE CARE

WHAT TO AVOID

4 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

AVOID Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials 

  • DISCONTINUE Retin-A at least 4 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure)

  • BOTOX AND FILLER on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables.

 Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

 2 WEEKS BEFORE :

 

  • REFRAIN from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure).

 1 WEEK BEFORE : 

 

  • AVOID sun and tanning

 48 HOURS PRIOR:

 

  • NO alcohol or caffeine (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea)

  • DO NOT TAKE Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen

  • AVOID Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements.

 24 HOURS PRIOR :

 

  • DO NOT work out 24 hours before the procedure.

POST CARE

IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING YOUR PROCEDURE:

Clients may experience some redness immediately following the treatment. This is normal.

Day 2 you new freckles will appear bold. This is normal. Redness is also normal following the treatment

Freckles usually take only 5-7 days to heal.

-no makeup on freckles for 1 week.

-avoid pools, saunas, steam rooms and direct sunlight for 1 week. (Sunscreen is a must after that)

-wash your face daily (AM and PM) using a gentle mild soap (cleanse aftercare) and lukewarm water. No face cloth or anything abrasive. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.

-no need to apply any products to the face for the healing process. Dry healing

-no picking or scratching

To help with longevity, clients should always wear sunscreen and avoid any major exfoliating skin care products, laser treatments etc.
